Spelt flour and chocolate chip cookies
These cookies with spelt flour and chocolate chips are the spelt version of American Cookies. Those famous cookies with chocolate are easy to make and above all very good. Try making them with our spelt flour, they are even tastier and a little healthier.
INGREDIENTS
- 300 g of Vaianino Farro flour
- 150 g of butter
- 1 whole egg and 1 yolk
- 150 g of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 150 g of chocolate chips
- 1 pinch of salt
METHOD
Take the butter out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before starting to make these famous biscuits.
In a bowl, put all the ingredients except the chocolate chips and start kneading. You can do it all in a planetary mixer with the leaf or in a mixer. When the dough is smooth and soft, add the chocolate chips and knead again. Put in the fridge for 30 minutes covered to consolidate. Take the dough and roll it out on the pastry board, with a thickness of half a centimeter. At this point, with a round mold, make the biscuits and arrange them on the baking tray for cooking. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 12/15 minutes
Bake your cookies and let them cool. They keep well in an airtight container.
